From our founder
I’ve been at the intersection of tech and writing for over 15 years, sometimes quite literally — in college, I double-majored in Computer Science and English Literature. After school, I joined Google’s Associate Product Manager (APM) program and spent five years leading products across Search, Android, and Pixel. Along the way, I learned how essential it is to communicate complex technical work clearly. Writing was my favorite part of the job, and eventually I left Google to do more of it.
In 2022, having built a successful freelance technical writing practice, I founded Copytree to scale a standard of engineering rigor and writing quality that’s rare in this industry. As our editor-in-chief and CEO, one thing I love about working with this team is that we’re all here because we truly care about the craft. I’m incredibly proud of our writers, the work we do, and the clients we partner with.
And I get to wake up every morning and live my childhood dream of writing stories — even if they’re about agentic AI and data pipelines, not wizards and dragons (but hey, not that far off).
